That is lovely I can see why you'd like it - very industrial similar to the city2 things from superamart. You could add castors to the steel container you got? Actually, one of the city2 bookcases might be an option? Unless you want small and portable? x Re: Summit build in the South West - Few update pics! 1355Apr 15, 2015 12:25 am ![]() Love the bed Rache and wow, like Melsie said, your bedroom is huge! Lucky things! What's the go with your tiles, I missed that bit (Melsie too)? Geez thanks Em! The bedroom is pretty big- always intended having a chill corner for either me to read or my OH to watch his races! Gotta say, i am loving the space! Just gotta find the right chair now! The tiles we were talking about are the ones around the fireplace. Re: Summit build in the South West - Few update pics! 1357Apr 15, 2015 12:44 am Feeling a little inspired tonight! Had our lovely carpenter here for most of the day sorting all our doors and putting up shower shelves etc 100 bucks and a dressed lamb for payment! Very happy! I finished the painting that had been missed and sanded and stained my folks old bookshelf for our study. Needs another coat but it doesnt look too bad. Means i can unpack my books shortly. YAY! And i followed up re our pendants and they arrived in Sydney today from America, the guy has made them Aussie friendly and they are in the post!!!! Very exciting! It's all looking sensational especially the fireplace - just gorgeous. Thought of you yesterday when I spotted coffee, sugar and tea cannisters at kmart that match your sexy kettle. Re: Summit build in the South West 1359Apr 15, 2015 10:03 am ![]() Hi there nikki! Fireplace came from Hearth House in Bunbury. Its called the Regency Hume. We wanted a big box that would shut down at night so we can keep it going 24/7! We generally start it some time in April and it keeps going til October! The tiles are a textured granite look 300 x 600, but i think you can use any tile you like. We nearly didnt have a hearth coz we have tiles on the floor anyway, but decided to define the area and are glad we did. Good luck chick! Thanks for that - I'll have to have a look round! I have images in my head of a lovely stone hearth but I'm sure that they'll be way out of budget! Would also love a brick surround but we ruled that out fairly early on! Have you considered a Chaise for the bedroom rather than a chair - even comfier for curling up with a book!
