Our property had "electricity available" but since we have 40 acres the pole was at the far end of the property and our quotes came in at around $40k to bring it up to the house location. Power is at the boundary, and it's approx 20m from the pole to the edge of the building envelope. There is a Telstra box. Site requires us to go on tank water, which suits us fine. My wife has purchased land before but it's the first time for me. Are there any special tips or advice for buying land?
