Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Nov 28, 2008 1:34 pm I bought some Weed'n'Feed the other day and after reading the label it said not to be used on Buffalo grass.
I have no idea what type of grass I have and was hoping someone might be able to tell me. Hopefully these photo's tell the story. I never suggest using the granular ones too often, they are very bad for the environment. When choosing a concentrated weed spray for your lawn you will need to look for one that doesn't contain "Dicamba". try one in an orange box called "Bin-Die" by Amgro. The weed and feed may cause your Kikuyu to go black. It is tough and might come back https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?p=110291 Re: What type of grass do I have? 7Nov 30, 2008 9:35 pm Thanks for thta Fu Man, I bought the yates weed'n'feed in the bottle that you click you hose onto and spray around, I did it this evening so I'll see how it all goes.
I did have a huge bindi problem that I solved partly by picking them out but initially by using that stuff in the orange box you suggested. The Bin Die and another one form the same mob. I mixed them together and sprayed the lawn a few months ago. Thanks again for all the help.
