Hi all,
Anyone building at The Avenue at Casey?
We bought a block about two months ago in the first release and have signed with Premier Builders.
It would be great to here from some future neighbours

I don't care that land on the other side of the main road is cheaper - I don't want to live there. It's really a matter of knowing what you're buying - and what you want. Re: The Avenue at Casey 5Nov 25, 2008 12:34 pm Oh - our developer approval was done within a week of our builder submitting the plans. No changes required.
We knew what we were doing when we chose our house, specified our siting, and added our upgrades. We even got our driveway crossover moved at no cost to us, because we thought ahead and got Stockland to agree to it before the road was constructed. We wrote that into our contract of sale as a condition.... Re: The Avenue at Casey 6Jan 06, 2009 12:54 pm hi,
im new to this site. i purchased a block in stage 2 at the Avenue. i must admit it was a very stressful purchase because of all the uncertanties associated with purchasing a block thats still a paddock. eveything seems to be going to plan so far. the covenants are good, but im dissapointed i cant have a colorbond fence the price was right for the block size cheers steve Re: The Avenue at Casey 7Jan 06, 2009 1:10 pm kek We've had nothing but positive experiences with Stockland. We had the opposite at Beaumont hills estate ... Stockland did nothing as stated in the plans in regard to parks and walkways / cycleways and the one park they did put in we had to fight the bastards for 12 months to make them do it ... Re: The Avenue at Casey 8Jan 06, 2009 10:13 pm tim the toolman Fraser Brown (ex Carlton footballer) is the developer and he did Melington down at Lyndhurst and I find that dealing with wacky Linda down there a real treat. LOL at "wacky" Linda She sold us our block at Melington and I thought she was terrific, even if she didn't quite "know" when our land was meant to be released Building our dream H3nl3y home together House: Cott3sloe Modifications: Extended ensuite, grand dining, grand rumpus, Bedroom 4 option, two plus garage Frame done, roof tiles are on, brickes start this week! Current Price of land at The Avenue at Casey 9Feb 04, 2009 10:48 am Hi,
Can you please advise what is the currently going rate for the land at The Avenue at Casey since I am interested in purchasing a block out there? Thanks for your time and response. Regards, Shane Drewitt. Re: The Avenue at Casey 10Feb 04, 2009 7:07 pm my understanding is that they are behind schedule a bit due to drainage issues and aboriginal artifacts.
will know more details in 2 weeks time. but they are now anticipating to start developing early march. im guessing stage two wont be ready till around september Re: The Avenue at Casey 11Feb 04, 2009 7:09 pm sorry, i didnt answer your question.
the blocks are around 175k i think Re: The Avenue at Casey 12Feb 05, 2009 10:46 am steven1983 my understanding is that they are behind schedule a bit due to drainage issues and aboriginal artifacts. Bugger! How often do I hear that??? There were aboriginal artefacts found down at Figtree Hill (next door to Melington at Lyndhurst) which set it back over 12-months when that happened! Anyone in the industry knows this is one of the best scams going around and I'm not going to get into that one here. Don't fall for the "Freebies" scam Re: The Avenue at Casey 13Feb 10, 2009 12:09 pm has anyone heard anymore info regarding the Avenue estate as yet? Re: The Avenue at Casey 14Feb 23, 2009 1:48 pm i went this weekend and they told me that the aboriginal report isn't done yet and it costed over 200K. So they are depending on that result. They also told me that the titles where pushed to September - October. Spoke to Linda today 18th march 09 18Mar 18, 2009 12:54 pm Hey,
I had a chat with Linda this afternoon to enquire on when the titling for the land would happen. she did not have a date to give me and asked for me to call in during the mid of April, but apparently they have started working on cutting the roads. Re: The Avenue at Casey 19Mar 18, 2009 8:44 pm yeah i went down there on sunday. they have cut most of the roads in for stage 1,2,3 and 5 i think. hopefully the rain isnt too bad over the next few months and they get a heap done. all looking good now.....
Finally Re: The Avenue at Casey 20Mar 19, 2009 10:13 am Thank God they started!!! Anyone know when there will be a geological report so we can estimate the site costs? Has anyone done a Building Contract and has a fixed site costs? Or Provisional sum or anything? 11 41615 |
