Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Mar 08, 2015 2:05 pm Hi, I recently asked my supervisor if it was okay to have my pool installed because I was given a practical completion date of 'mid march'. I asked if it was safe to install the pool in mid february, which he said OK. The pool was installed fine, pencil compaction was done and I put up my temporary fencing. Then contractors came to install stormwater drainage and have dug trenches around the pool the day after the pencil compaction was completed. The pool is setback 1.0m from the house and I paid a considerably amount for dropped footings because of the pool. Is this safe, and maybe should have the stormwater been done before pool installation? The contractors also left my temporary fencing disassembled which I received a council complaint about, but I guess that's beside the point.
