More specifically we are considering purchasing home and land package on Navigator street Lot 2289 which has a retaining wall separating the lot from Camden Valley Way. I would like to know how we can do fencing with the retaining wall. More specifically we are considering purchasing home and land package on Navigator street Lot 2289 which has a retaining wall separating the lot from Camden Valley Way. I would like to know how we can do fencing with the retaining wall. Hi Debanjan99, I am on navigator st backing onto the concrete sound wall adjacent to CVW, however I don't have a retaining wall at the sound wall. I will need to get retaining walls down either side of my block at the back between my place & neighbours, as well as across the back to create a raised grassed area beyond the covered porch I'm having installed across the width of the house at the back (which will be at the same level as the slab; lower than the grassed area). The side fencing/retaining wall will go between the houses along the boundary line, all the way back to the concrete sound wall (which is the rear boundary of the block). The cost of the fencing down the sides between the neighbours that includes the required retaining walls will be split evenly between both parties. I have done all the work in obtaining the initial quote & meeting the contractor on site to discuss everyone's needs for both side neighbours, & have kindly advised them that if a second quote is needed, that will be their responsibility to research the relevantly qualified person & meet on site to discuss mutual requirements, as this would be a fair arrangement considering I have done all the legwork for the initial quote & passing on their wants/needs.
