Nothing wrong with dreaming though. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 362Mar 02, 2015 6:36 pm Hi Neighbours I phoned masterton today and the lady who I spoke to said that they were told 16th March Registration a couple of days ago I have emailed my solicitor to see if he has heard anything as yet but waiting for reply Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 363Mar 02, 2015 7:03 pm Great news Build14me. Looks like we might be getting real close now. Exciting!!! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 364Mar 02, 2015 7:09 pm Just for a bit of a subject change does anyone know what is going in opposite the display homes will the woolies go there I know originally it was meant to go closer to Richardson rd but my wife vaguely remembers reading something about them moving it further down springs rd. Speaking of Richardson rd what a waste of time closing it has been, they put the barriers up and then have done nothing for months Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 366Mar 02, 2015 7:14 pm I thought so up_springfarm_creek without a paddle Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 367Mar 02, 2015 7:27 pm Well that's good news, I actually heard that they were going to build townhouses and units there. Glad to hear that Woolworths is going there instead Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 368Mar 02, 2015 7:53 pm I agree, means woolies will be even closer than I irst thought And I saw a sign today saying that the Richardson road/ springs road closure was meant to end April 2015. March 16th rego!!! That would be a dream come true! But again, if Cornish group was expecting this, surely they would have told us...... The people it matters to most Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 369Mar 02, 2015 8:11 pm Yeah that's right! Kinda makes you wonder why they are yet to update us. Hmmmm Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 370Mar 02, 2015 8:20 pm They will be waiting for the VPA to get signed off by council I reckon, then they will send an update with all positive news. I read a post before mentioning that Cornish had only submitted all the obligations of the VPA to council last Wednesday, wonder how long it takes council to do the rest and get the ball rolling. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 371Mar 02, 2015 8:40 pm Hope the VPA gets signed off so our land can finally register sooner rather than later. Seems the ball is in council's court now. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 372Mar 02, 2015 8:51 pm Really hope the land does all register in less than two weeks! Have council said whether or not the developer has paid their twenty-something million bucks worth of section 94 contributions for the whole estate yet? It would be interesting to know this because there may be roads and lights plus a pending VPA, but last time land registered in the area, Council broke policy for the sake of residents to allow registration without payment of these fees. They vowed this would not happen again and hold a vast majority of the land as security.
Not surprised the February update is late but hopefully holding out will mean more positive news rather than delays! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 373Mar 02, 2015 8:58 pm And it's pretty clear that council are not putting themselves in any position to be blamed for delays which has been clear on previous occasions and actually a condition in the agreement: Council’s obligations relating to Work 19.1 The Council is not to unreasonably delay, hinder or otherwise interfere with the performance by the Developer of its obligations under this Deed, and is to use its reasonable endeavours to ensure third parties unrelated to the Developer do not unreasonably delay, hinder or otherwise interfere with the performance of those obligations. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 374Mar 03, 2015 7:42 am Ron from the council said this in his email to me. "I could send you an email when execution occurs and I am always happy to discuss the VPA if you have any further questions." no email yet. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 375Mar 03, 2015 7:58 am I would like to know who I contact also. The more people who enquire the more they know we are serious now Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 376Mar 03, 2015 10:52 am The Ebs I agree, means woolies will be even closer than I irst thought And I saw a sign today saying that the Richardson road/ springs road closure was meant to end April 2015. That sign saying April has been up since they put the barriers up to block the road so don't hold your breath they haven't done one minute of work since the barriers were put in place up_springfarm_creek without a paddle Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 378Mar 03, 2015 12:06 pm whats the email address you are all emailing for camden council? up_springfarm_creek without a paddle Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 379Mar 03, 2015 12:50 pm i sent you a private message up_springfarm_creek Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 380Mar 03, 2015 1:15 pm Excellent suggestion! The more people who contact council the better, the squeakiest wheel gets the most oil. Soak wells and electrical run in happening this week!
