Nothing in my documentation mentions that the wooden one is included, so I'm assuming it's an extra-cost option. I was planning on going for a standard one anyway, just no idea what colour yet!

You can choose a wood like colour though but the actual wood is an upgrade. Thanks Lincoln35_mckinley for posting the photos. Also like idea to paint wood colour on the garage door. That will be good, as we can save the money to spend somewhere else. Did you include a shower place in the powder room? If so, how much they will charge. We have included a shower place in the laundry as we do not have enough space in the powder room. EBH has quoted us $1500 for the shower place. Don't know if it's a good price or not.[/quote] We are building with the in laws, they will have the front lounge and guest bedroom so we've added a shower to the powder room. Cost approx $2000 😩 but they need it. And that didn't even include a shower niche that would have been an extra $300 approx. They really know how to get the $$ out of people don't they! Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 11349Feb 25, 2015 10:36 pm Regarding front door frosting. Please google the finishes. The translucent gives the White look on the door. Spotswood glazing is like the privacy glass you get in bathrooms. In my opinion the translucent is way more white than frosted. You can view all the finishes at the door place head office near at Mary's. I think it's corinthian. But once we started building it has been great. We have a really good site supervisor who has been great at keeping us up to date. Even the small issues we have had have been sorted out very quickly by our supervisor. For the sink upgrade it was about $1k for the draining grooves and undermount sink. The sink itself was an additional $300. Hi kim_kdr, Just wondering how much you were charged for the cut and polish for the undermount sink roughly? Cheers Building the Sheffield 25 + 2 sq Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 11351Feb 26, 2015 7:31 am Adam_C Hasan_S14 Also do you know what garage door they will provide? As we like the wooden garage door, but found that it will cost around $3000. If the slandered one looks good then we will not go for upgrade. Nothing in my documentation mentions that the wooden one is included, so I'm assuming it's an extra-cost option. I was planning on going for a standard one anyway, just no idea what colour yet! Hi guys, The garage door that EB supply is a Steel-line colourbond roller door with a motor + 2 remotes, the timber look is roughly 3k+ and it is still colourbond called decowood, the real timber door is 6k+ hope this helps. Plus I have changed few things structually that deleted a large window. Maybe this could explain the diff? I dont know what you mean by that 'wind out windows'? Yeah sorry complete mind blank on the name of them. Most windows slide to the side, our front facade all have a winder that pushes the window out and in. So the window pushes out from the bottom. Maybe it's called an awning window? Hi Kim, just curious how much did your glass splash back set you back? Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 11356Feb 26, 2015 7:04 pm Lincoln35_mckinley Hi Kim, just curious how much did your glass splash back set you back? It was just over 2k. We also have the glass splashback in the niche next to the fridge (just across the back). Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 11357Feb 26, 2015 7:05 pm Didn't think it would be cheap! Does look great though. We are also getting the niche. Think we didn't really have a choice there - would have been bare otherwise. .. Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 11358Feb 26, 2015 7:11 pm The glass splashback was something my husband really wanted. I would have been pretty happy with tile but he was adamant about the glass. It is crazy that the niche is an extra in the Lincoln. It would be such a weird space without putting cabinets in there. Our coffee machine and jug will go in the niche and it will be our little coffee making zone. Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 11359Feb 26, 2015 7:16 pm That's exactly what we thought! And to top off that extra cost, it only included laminate bench top. The promotion we got included an upgrade to stone in kitchen and bathrooms but didn't include the niche. Go figure. Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 11360Feb 26, 2015 7:18 pm I probably shouldn't have been surprised though! I built with EB back on 2009.
