Not too concerned about any delays, first home buyer buyer so gives me more time to save. Very steep block but already have spoken to a few builders so already prepared for a high site cost. NERVOUS! We are in a very similar position not too fussed about delays at the moment also have a similar sloped block. Which builders have you looked at already? Hi n+s, we are on a 2 metre slope (across the block) and will be building with Ashford Homes. I think someone else in Stage 2 are building with them too. They were very upfront about possible site costs (ours currently considered to be $40K) which we can deal with, at least we shouldn't have any surprises (we had been looking at Carlisle Homes who quoted $15k for site costs. What a laugh). Ashford are custom builders and have quite good inclusions -not everything is an 'extra' or an 'upgrade'. Anyway, good luck with everything. My blog: tashandpaul.wordpress.com Yeah I don't know why I came to a forum. Place is full of wierdos/pedos thought internet may help but I suppose I'll try my luck with someone in person. Cheers. I tried… 0 6444 I have posted this before: We hired Darbecca to do every stage inspection, and I strongly recommend them to anyone that asks me. They were amazing. Thorough reports… 2 4505 |
