Re: Please help what colours to choose in our kitchen!!!!! 15Feb 19, 2015 7:44 pm Treeseachanger I really like the contrast! So you like the brushwood? Building the Sheffield 25 + 2 sq Re: Please help what colours to choose in our kitchen!!!!! 16Feb 19, 2015 7:48 pm No imo the brushwood is too busy. I meant I like the contrast btw dark and light. Are the new links brushwood or burnished wood?? The pattern seemed more pronounced in the pics you posted earlier.... Re: Please help what colours to choose in our kitchen!!!!! 17Feb 19, 2015 7:59 pm Hi There The new pics posted are burnished wood on a cream tile and a mist tile. Originally we liked the timber look with lines but we are now feeling its a bit 80's styling and may just be a fad and date really quick like it did in the mid 90's no way we want a old kitchen in 10 yrs that people are going to look at and go yuk thats so mid 2015. Im now thinking a bit more solid colour with less lines/grain may be a better option. Its so hard picking every example looks different it really depends on the camera distance and lighting hard to guage a true indication. I think you have to try to strike a balance between what you really like and the "trend". To me this means if you are brave, just go with what you love. If you aren't, and thinking of resale down the track, be subtle. (Paint can be changed pretty inexpensively, but fixtures and flooring can't.)
