Thanks, Herbert Hello Herbert The best way to build on a sloping block in my opinion is to build on stumps rather than a slab. That way you don't have so many earthworks. See if you can find a custom builder who will do this, or even a kit home manufacturer? I had a quick look at the website and the houses look good and prices are also pretty reasonable. Do you know of anyone who have used them? If so what have they said about this company? My wife and I were about to sign up for one of their house and land packages but decided against it in the end (not any problem with the company, just decided to go with another block of land). They have a nice split level display at the observatory in Reedy Creek. Have to reduce size of pics i think Hi Bananas, Whoaaa that's what I call s a slope! I don;t think ours is as much, but once you takea way the house, the slope may reveal itself more. Can I ask what it cost you to excavate ? I sense that we would have to do something very similar.
