They just finished all the wet areas yesterday and the white duck looks absolutely lovely. My middle son chose the flooded gum- good taste hey! Your bedroom must look beautiful with all walls done. Such a gorgeous grey.:-) Re: Summit build in the South West - Painting pics!!! 1213Feb 02, 2015 12:28 am Wow, it just gets busier and busier! Only had one day of painting left, but had to cancel them coz the tiler has started the main floors and doesn't want any tradies inside! Not great timing, but hey! They attempted to gloss my once beautiful cedar front doors in woodland grey - looks worse than ever. Have no idea what they are going to do now. In a bit of a dilemma as the painter agreed to try and match the stain with everything else with no variation, so Summit will no longer accept responsibility and I feel badly about expecting the painter to foot the bill for new ones as he could have told me to shove it and just varnished them. On a positive note my flat panel LED light is installed in the kitchen - won't be everyones cup of tea but I LOVE it. It's 600mm x 600mm, and only about 10mm deep. My sparky needed therapy after installing it!! Hehehe! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Got a couple of finished painting pics for you too - ensuite and laundry. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Had a fantastic shopping week. Ordered some of belzeys gorgeous Kuka chairs - to die for! And we all have beds and bedroom furniture. I chose a white PU leather bed with some simple white lacquered bedsides and tallboy. Handles are same as my ensuite ones. Very simple, and bed is low to the ground which is what I wanted. The cowhide ones were too high for me and too grand for the look I am chasing. Feeling a little stressed about the impending move and the need to successfully coordinate getting everything finished. But still smiling! Little Freckle Face bought Stewart last week with her 5 years worth of savings! Very excited about finally having a pony. We will pick him up from Perth towards the end of March. All happening our way!! Hope you all have a fantastically productive building week. Re: Summit build in the South West - Painting pics!!! 1214Feb 02, 2015 12:43 am Looking so good Rache. Just bedroom furniture at this stage so we all have our own special space. That will be a good start. I have decided against the tolix dining chairs- not comfy to relax in over a long dinner! Took ages to put up, and my sparky was grumbling, but afterwards he just said 'Whoa, that was so worth it!!' Rapt with my downlights too - lovely clean light which makes all your colours stand out nice. Got 250m of skirting to paint chick, so late night chats out for a bit longer!!:-):-) Re: Summit build in the South West - Painting pics!!! 1220Feb 06, 2015 11:21 am trixee That led panel has some serious kick to it by the looks, gonna be very handy indeed!
