Our land isn't registered until probably November and we need to save some more after forking out 10% of the land deposit. We've got tiling done post handover throughout the house...and bamboo flooring in bedrooms. Worked out heaps cheaper in getting 600x600 tiles externally and getting it laid alongwith screeding. And we dont have splashback in the kitchen...we went with the transparent fixed splashback window behind the cooktop. I built with EB back on 2009.
