In my case it's for 1 kid (me!) and all his cars:) KDR Building a new house in Ryde area NSW 10Feb 12, 2015 5:17 pm Signed the building contract yesterday, just waiting for the Tennant to move out this weekend. We are going though a price shock with the demo quotes. We have. 200 Sqm 2 story house with two paver driveways to be removed. We figured around 20-25k but the two quotes we have at 35-38k. And this is for an easy accces flat site. Ouch! Not sure what we'll do with that yet but looking for a third quote. Just means a delay but we'll see. Re: KDR Building a new house in Ryde area NSW 12Feb 12, 2015 7:14 pm Yeah my last single story house was 16k plus the extra 7 they hit us up for asbestos under the driveway:( Re: KDR Building a new house in Ryde area NSW 13Feb 12, 2015 8:04 pm Hey there neighbour Ouch indeed! We are also building in Ryde. Our demo set us back approx $16k for a 3 bedroom BV, separate garage, workshop, driveway, concrete backyard, and lots of trees (over 3m high). Hope it's 3rd time lucky. Look forward to following your build. Sure I'll post some more updates soon. Not much happening at the moment, but passed on some details to the builder of another demolisher to see if we can get a better price. They did our last KDR, was a similar house and price to yours, but also hit us up for ~7K extra for asbestos under the driveway. Nothing like that happened on yours I take it from your cost? Thanks!
