4 months delay would means, we will have to extend our contract .. OMG .. This is going to be long and expensive wait ..

My solicitor said it could get registration on around Jan or Feb. Lets hope for good

I can see DP1181219 (stage 10) took from 20/5/2014 to 19/6/2014 for registration.
Stage 12 DP1186391 was lodged on 17/11/2014 , so there is still little hope it might registered before Christmas, otherwise I would expect it to be in early January.
I can see the status already changed "Under Examination" dated 12/12/2014, Today

If you have been calling your solicitor continuously, probably he or she might have tried to set your expectation a bit down, unless there a solid reason why they believe it might reach Feb !
Lets see what happens !

Good job Askanaan. Lets see. If the registration is finished on 17th, they will not notify us as it will Christmas shutdown for most of the offices. But hope to get it in 2nd week of Jan. 2015

I visited the site yesterday, and till now looks like there is some work required from Landcom for stage 12. The only visible progress since around 1 month was that they planted some trees and some grass in the front of the plots. Still the pedestrians pathway is missing. My plot is missing the green electricity box, water is there.
I wonder if there are some issues we don't know about delaying the project. I hope none !

Pathways are missing in stage 10 as well. I think it will made later after construction of houses and driveways to limit damage to them and also it will save concrete for them as driveways will be there.
Secondly I don't think electricity box is present in front of each lot (but not sure).

Stage 12 registration not happening this year:(... got the update from my solicitor today..

Stage 12 will be 4 months late then

Bank loan application can be renewed. Any idea if we will have to renew the land tender as well or it will be just be to pay for the land?

It depends on the terms and conditions of the builder. Every builder has its own way.

If the land gets registered in jan , the builder will send the plans to Council. After the approval you sign the contract. Council takes 4 5 weeks CDC takes 2 weeks. So you are looking around march or april when contracts might be signed.
Sonyou might be safe.if builder takes time to file plans after the registration that will be a problem.
I have taken 1 year price lock and my tender expires in Aug.

The updated as of today is "UNDERGOING FOLIO CREATION".
Final status is "FOLIOS CREATED", so I am guessing this is going to be soon !

Looks too tight to settle before Christmas, Landcom offices closes tomorrow, 19th Dec evening as I received in an email from them.

I guess next step it to get the DP Number, pass it to your builder to get details regarding council requirements and fix the site cost (if not fixed in advance)

Any idea how to get the DP Number though :th:

Yuuhuuu. Got a call from the Solicitor. My lot is registered and we have got till 19 Jan to pay due to Christmas close-down. Otherwise it would have been till 9 Jan.
