Can anyone tell me what the metal edging used in this photo is called?
I've seen these strips in many display homes but bunnings only sells the plastic or wood types.

This would have made his hand useless as the opposable thumb is what gives us the best grasp for stuff. All's well now, this was in a previous house: he fell out of the wheelbarrow his brother was "driving" at speed...as you do. Haven't had any issues here but can see that it would definitely hurt if little fingers and toes got the right spot!
