But DH and I both love Red and when we had the sample colour on the wall we could not resist. And I think that Red is a VERy passionate colour.
At least this time I only bought 3 sample pots, one red, one green, and one cream... only had to eliminate the green one. Maleena Hardy Curiouser & Curiouser Vintage-Handmade-Interior & Colour Consultancy http://www.curiouserandcuriouser.com.au It looks fantastic 45Nov 15, 2008 8:47 am What a transformation. I just love to see before and after shots. I will keep an eye on your thread to see when it is finished. I am looking at buying a house shortly and with our budget i just know we will have to paint and i just love the red colour that you have chosen for your bedroom. I might have to use it myself if that is OK. Your room does have a Moroccan feel about it already and you have not even finished it yet. Re: Moroccan Makeover 46Nov 17, 2008 9:24 am just a little bit more...
slowly but surely, onto the curtains this week. At least I only have to buy curtains for one window. Bedsides and lights will come later after Christmas. Are you going to hang anything from the top rails? Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Moroccan Makeover 50Nov 17, 2008 4:12 pm Thats really come up nice Maleena, I was thinking the same thing as Michelle and also are you going to be a hanging a curtain behind your bed to cover the verticals?. Beautiful bed by the way. Re: Moroccan Makeover 51Nov 18, 2008 7:57 am yes curtains, bed canopy and cushions on the way. working to a strict budget so posting pics as i go. one thing at a time. also need to get some bedsides. $$$$$$$$$$$ money, money, money... its NOT funny...until i get some... Maleena Hardy Curiouser & Curiouser Vintage-Handmade-Interior & Colour Consultancy http://www.curiouserandcuriouser.com.au That bed is just gorgeous 52Nov 18, 2008 8:40 am Where did you get that bed from? Your theme is coming together nicely i must say. You should be able to find some nice sheer curtains to hang from the bed, and they should not be too expensive either.
It is really hard when you can imagine exactly what you want but your wallet just does not play fair. If you are anything like me, you will want it all done yesterday and can't stand to wait for it. I looks great so far and i can't wait to see it finished either. Re: Moroccan Makeover 53Jul 26, 2015 11:55 pm So what happened? That was seven years ago ... Would be nice to see it finished |
