Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Dec 02, 2014 10:02 am Hi All, Thought I would see if I could get an answer here before bugging Fairmont. I have a PCI date of 10 \ 02 \ 15. Will this be a completed house with carpet or tiles or a completed house minus the floor coverings. i was told getting them to do the carpet and tiling it would extend the date out by 20 days, but I just assumed that PCI date would include this extra 20 days, given how close that dates is approaching I'm starting to have doubts.. Re: Fairmont - Carpet\Tile question 2Dec 02, 2014 4:49 pm I have been told it is in addition to this date. Also make sure you call supervisors using different numbers. I have called 6 times in the lead up to Xmas with no answer. My partner called today and he answered. Apparently the site supervisor did not know flooring was in my contract which is the reason being used now for us not being in before Xmas which is a terrible lie. A bit disappointing. An update everyone and then doesn't go a stray. Re: Fairmont - Carpet\Tile question 3Dec 03, 2014 8:29 pm I'm yet to speak to or contact my supervisor. I always contact Fairmonts via email and most of the time I get a response a reply within 48 hours. I prefer email as that means I always have written proof... even if half the time Fairmont call back to respond to my email. I emailed them and same story it is in addition so new PCI date for 2nd of March. Sorry to hear about your delay, would have been a nice Christmas present! Re: Fairmont - Carpet\Tile question 4Dec 04, 2014 9:25 am Hi ST13, Please what email address do you send your queries to? I have been trying to contact our supervisor with no luck. The last time I heard from him, he expressed that our build will not get bricked until January. Right now, we are worried about exposure of the frames and upper floor boards to elements for the next 5 weeks (not sure if we should be worried? ). We are trying to request for some form of covering (i.e. plastic at least ) to protect the build. Did you find that your timber frames and boards were OK (no molds or swellings?) with all the rain etc? I guess this is one of our concerns. I got your message, thanks.
