Is it located in the room where you hear a lot of noise? When we flush our toilets, we hear the pump going in our rainwater tank which sits right next to the main bedroom. We can only hear it if we are in the main bedroom and not when we are in any other room. Could this be what you are hearing? Kimkdr We did change a couple of things during construction, the one that was escalated to management was more due to the fact that what we were getting was different to what was written and promised in our contract. As there was no disclaimer in our contract to exclude us from what was part of a promotional upgrade (that we paid for I might add), management relented and gave us what was written in the contract. The other thing was changing our driveway colour and asking if the stenciling could extend to the council cross over. We were prepared to pay for this additional work. As the driveway was not done by EB, but by Outback, once Outback gave the OK for the driveway change, we didn't have any problems. Apparently we were lucky in that we had an "old" contract, which meant that we got the extra stencilling free of charge and also the change in colour was no additional charge. As EBH didn't have to do anything, they waived the $500 variation fee. Could you get your CSA/CSO to explain why it is flat no from management? The worse case scenario is that you have the rangehood you don't want installed, then when you move in, sell it on ebay and get the one that you do want. thanks BH, no the sound is not coming our of the rainwater which is next to our main bed but the sound is coming out of the toilet flush and its too noisy I built with EB back on 2009.
