But I'm sorry, I just can't move past those beautiful bricks. Every time I see them I like them more!! I wish we had boral as a choice down here Building our first dream home in NSW Mmmm have to say we are pretty happy with the bricks too, but me thinks you might need to have a cold shower, lol Don't keep me hanging here.... what was the bricks you used? We use Boral as well and our final colour selection is this Tuesday Edit: NVM. Went through all your post history and realized you have the same brick as the one I shortlisted. You have double height instead of the standard one Now am 100% sure about my bricks, looks so much better in real pictures than rendered images on Boral's website Re: Coral homes daydream 30 at Logan Village 116Nov 14, 2014 8:24 pm Mellywil How did I not know/forget that you are having MY kitchen! I've wanted white gloss cabinets with black benchtops since we started this whole thing. It's one of the few things I've been sure about since day 1. I LOVE it!!! What kind of handles do you have on the cupboards and drawers? I can't see properly in the pics are they rectangles or roundish? The tiles look good, but the kitchen looks GREAT! Except for us going electric (no gas here), you've shown me a preview of my kitchen I'm sorry, but if that's the kitchen you end up with then I will have no option but to accuse you copying us, lol. Actually the benchtops are 'Wild Rocks' which is a dark brown with a fleck through it, so if you go with black tops that should be enough to make me think you didn't copy us at all. Black tops would look good though. Handles are rounded not square. Hope you end up as happy with your kitchen as we are with ours. Love the Daydream 30 floor design What brick did you use for your exterior walls if you don't mind me asking? Cheers. Yep sorry, am trying to get all the replies, the phone here is going ballistic, it's Friday night, trying to have a few drinks and watching the roar win their first game of the year, busy, busy. lol Bricks are Boral 'Alpine' double height, I didn't really like them to begin with but Jane loved them. Then we saw them on a house and they looked sooo good that it totally changed my mind about them, so glad we chose them. (rough estimate maybe for labor as our tiles will cost about a grand to buy). The house is looking great and the colours really do sit well with each other. Not sure how much just for labor but the total for the tiles and laying was about $2400 and that's for 27.6 sqm. They are just so pretty!! (In a manly way for you of course) Building our first dream home in NSW Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13718 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1681 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74219 |
