To be eligible for the solar-panel offer your family income has to be less than $100,000 per annum or you should have submitted the application before 30 June 2008.

For all others there is no guarantee of getting the offer…. the first 120 applicants getting the offer is a myth.

Anyway, The Ponds guidelines combined with BASIX is supposed to save you a lot of money on electricity so either way we're winners!

If you want your $5k landscaping rebate at the end of everything, you'll have to adhere to the guidelines. Also, in regard to landscaping, you need to have a plan that passes their guidelines as well or else the build application won't be approved.

It's my understanding that you should generally comply because they have the right to turn up at your doorstep and ask you to change the colours. Everything in the guidelines, including colour schemes, is in your land contract which is binding.

I have been taken off their list as well since I purchased but a friend is on their database so they forwarded me the plans which I have attached. I know what its like..we always like to compare whats happening around us and curious to see what the next releases are like, so here's the attachment.

What sort of prices are they going for? A bit more than the previous release?

Will be interesting to see what they do with their land prices in the near future, I think they'll gradually increase once the suburb is more established.

Yeah the other side of the creek won't be on sale for another 3 years apparently. I'd actually prefer to get a block around that lake down the Schofields Rd end of The Ponds, that would be perfect, but it won't be available for at least a year and a half.

the lot size range for the Iris release this Saturday is 450-606sqm... i think... that's why we're happy with the land at stonecutters!

the other 330k land @ Stonecutters is actually 728sqm i think... and apparently, there is also a 299k land (battle axe) but it's still around 650sqm i think... it's been a while since we've been back there again, so don't quote me on these

The lots fronting stone cutters drive from memory (just near the entrance) are 330k on the left side. 650m2 from memory as well, only thing i don't like about them is that they are fronting a main road, and if you go into the complex, the way i see it, is you'd have to drive out to turn your car around (no easy way back into your driveway since the road divider has a barrier).
