Re: Custom design home 9Nov 01, 2014 2:08 pm Brick work is completed now and roof is more or less done as well. We've completed the electrical and tile selections. Electrical rough in is scheduled in for next week. The Wincrest site supervisor calls me every week with the updates. Re: Custom design home 10Nov 01, 2014 8:01 pm So I take it you are very happy with your experience so far? I don't see many posts about Wincrest which I assume is a good thing. Generally people will jump on forums to post about their bad experiences but any good experiences are hardly heard of. so I assume no news is good news Re: Custom design home 11Nov 01, 2014 9:12 pm So far its all been pretty good with Wincrest. All the staff I have dealt with have been professional and courteous. What I end up paying compared to the original cost is probably +200K from the base price but I have increased the size and made several other additions. Workmanship to date has been good but will need to wait and see when the interiors get done. Re: Custom design home 12Nov 14, 2014 10:19 pm I am planning to go with Wincrest as well, interested to hear more about your progress. I am looking for a full custom design. +200K from base scares me, did you upgrade the fittings? Your modifications don't seem to be much though. 18/03/15 Deposit 02/09/15 CDC 22/09/15 Slab 05/12/15 Frames 15/12/15 Brick started. 11/04/16 Roof start 04/05/16 Roof finish 09/07/16 Gyprock.
