Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Bletchley Park Build 27Oct 04, 2014 5:32 pm Yeh they've scheduled jobs pretty damn well! Today was the first time we've gone down and there were only minor things changed. We were hoping the plastering may have started, but maybe next week. The builder expects lock up towards the end of the month. Re: Bletchley Park Build 28Oct 04, 2014 5:38 pm We did notice lots of workers at the park though, laying bricks and so forth! Havent seen anyone there before, so that's good they are getting it underway.. Re: Bletchley Park Build 29Oct 13, 2014 6:59 pm Bletchley home Hi Jdvee I am also in Kempster but still waiting for earthworks to start.. hopefully in 1 week as builder said Hi Bletchly Home! Awesome, which lot? I'm 1065 as mentioned titles not due till Nov so little bit to go but have signed on a builder and finalizing plans bletchleybuild Thank you! were pretty happy with it... You may have noticed the park in front of ours has a swale filled with water....it would be so perfect for an ornamental lake! Looks exactly like one with water in it, alas it will just be a normal park! Great to see so many Bletchley park-ers on here! I asked on another post, but have you heard anything about a tavern and shops going in the estate? The land sales mentioned it.... Your welcome, was just there over the weekend still looking good! We have a swale on our block out the front, was a little bummed at first but hey it gets landscaped so saves me doing it Yes that will be normal park/garden area but anything is better than houses as far as you can see... I did get "verbal confirmation" from Wallis about the Tavern so if they stay true it will be built Re: Bletchley Park Build 30Oct 15, 2014 10:12 pm Jdvee Bletchley home Hi Jdvee I am also in Kempster but still waiting for earthworks to start.. hopefully in 1 week as builder said Hi Bletchly Home! Even if you titles are still due in november, make sure that you progress as much as possible with your builder, who is your builder by the way? cheers Re: Bletchley Park Build 31Oct 16, 2014 6:58 pm Bletchley home Hi Jdvee I am in 1069 just in the corner down the street, it is good to actually meet people at least trough here before moving in, lots of people from Bletchley Park. We are building with New Generation, custom design Re: Bletchley Park Build 33Nov 03, 2014 11:57 pm bletchleybuild Bletchley Home, have they started your block yet? yes they already put the slab down but now I need to way for bricks, I hope not for too long... Builder said about the problem with brick layers but other builders next to me seemed that didnt have any issue with it, so i will just have to insist Re: Bletchley Park Build 34Nov 10, 2014 9:59 am Just to let you Bletchley parkers know i've seen thieves driving around the state looking for things to steal. I didn't realize what they were doing at first as they drove around multiple times, then when I saw them pull up in the distance and start running into a house, I tried to get their number plate, they got scared off by something (me or someone in the house?) and bolted back in their ute and sped off! I guess they are everywhere its just so annoying! daylight robbery! Re: Bletchley Park Build 35Nov 14, 2014 9:17 am The house is all locked up now, cupboards are in, tiling started Tuesday... front door painted... Already I don't like some of the laminate and the front door colour! Its so annoying you cant change the paint colour on site, the painters only have to ask for a different colour when they go in to solver shop! Not preordered like colourbond, laminates etc...Guess the front doors easy to change! Ill try and get some tiling pics through the window one day... It is really good to see many of us from the same street in Homeone. Perhaps we should start a new thread for Kemspter Way. I guess they are everywhere its just so annoying! daylight robbery! I have to second the opinion that there are thieves driving around the estate. I was there on a Saturday evening driving around the estate and did see a white sedan and a black ute. The white sedan was the lookout driving around whilst the person in the black ute was running in and out of the houses. Stay safe people.. It is really good to see many of us from the same street in Homeone. Perhaps we should start a new thread for Kemspter Way. I nearly bought lot 1068, last year but I went for lot 1173. I like the park just like my old home. I finalise my contract yesterday 27k over original plan. Hello I have a question, when you upgrade an existing lights ( from metal halide to LED) on existing lighting poles in a recreational park. Do you have to design check… 0 6617 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 46714 3 66168 |
