Hi all,

in case you have not received Sohel's email, a few of us are meeting to discuss and coordinate a plan for getting some momentum regarding objections to the apartments.

We are meeting at the Mean Fiddler for dinner tonight, Thursday 28th August, at 7:30pm.
I will be wearing a green jumper, and will reserve a large table.

Looking forward to putting our heads together on this!

I unfortunately will not be able to attend due to other commitments although would love to see a meeting outcome posted or emailed.
Can I also suggest for tonight's agenda to discuss a proposal for council to fix the entry with a park etc. That would be great.

Hi all. I will do my best to attend tonight and have passed this information on to a few people I have met in Caladenia Way. It sounds like a few cant make it tonight, so is it possible we have a follow up meeting at the estate on Sunday maybe around lunchtime of something. From reading the posts it seems we dont have a lot of time. I agree with mystro, the petition or whatever should include all applications on both sides of the estate. I also agree we should hit the council up up for the entrance to the estate being a park with swings etc for the kids.

Is anyone installing a pivot door ? According to my builder because of the BAL rating it doesn't comply as it doesn't seal correctly. Seems like a lie to me

We are installing a pivot door but out bal is 12.5 I've heard the same for Bal 19 and 40

Thanks, I'm a BAL 29 and they've ordered a hinged door for me in error and now saying it doesn't comply.

All good. Checked the Australian Standard and there is no issue AS3595 2009. My builder ordered the wrong door as hinged and trying to tell me that I can't have a pivot.

Does anyone know what a partially screen door is (this is for the external front door)? My builder has given me this option since my home is BAL 29?

Sounds like it will have solid panels in it, not just mesh.
