Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Greenway Estate, Marsden Park - Community Corner 707Sep 24, 2014 3:57 pm I understand that emotions are running high because of the situation. Let us show to everyone that we are civil about this and refrain from mentioning names in public as we dont want to aggravate matters at this point in time. Let us exhaust all means possible and wait until we receive formal notifications from our builders after we have also formally informed them about the delay (this is notwithstanding that GL may have formally informed them as well). There are matters that we can all discuss privately, somewhere if need be, and not show our aces this early. Please email me if you need clarification. Re: Greenway Estate, Marsden Park - Community Corner 709Sep 24, 2014 5:19 pm I agree Kaycee we just need abit of calm for now atleast till the end of the week. By then we should have a response from our builders. If the outcome is not as expected there are several options, which im sure GL and builders would like to steer away from. Re: Greenway Estate, Marsden Park - Community Corner 710Sep 24, 2014 6:44 pm Just got a confirmation from Wisdom that they have extended the contract expiry date to 31 March 2015. I too agree that all should wait for their builder's response. A dispute is a lose-lose situation and should be the last option. I am a bit disappointed with the way the whole issue has been handled by the developer. They tend to forget that they have sold us a H&L package (even though we have signed two contracts) and the builders have been chosen by them. They should have spoken to the builders directly to come up with an amicable solution than asking us to negotiate with the builders. If I am correct, Masterton is the only builder who has treated the contract as a typical H&L contract. Wisdom has covered the gaps in a H&L contract and a House only contract through their good gesture. I sincerely hope the other builders also will follow the same path. Re: Greenway Estate, Marsden Park - Community Corner 716Sep 25, 2014 1:16 pm Thanks Champion. I am sure all builders will follow path... Hope there is no more delay. Does anyone know if the process for the subdivision has been submitted to blacktown council and is this progress trackable. Re: Greenway Estate, Marsden Park - Community Corner 717Sep 25, 2014 1:32 pm We need to know what are the next steps and timelines for land registration. So if there is another slip up we can respond quickly. If anyone has detailed info that will be great. Re: Greenway Estate, Marsden Park - Community Corner 718Sep 25, 2014 2:31 pm Hi all, Based on the meeting we (Redtech, Jun and I) had with Kylie on last Sunday, below are steps: 1> Submit DA to Blacktown council on Tuesday-- 23 Sept. This includes approval from different entities such as Council, Endeavour Energy, water works etc. This will take approximately 8 weeks based on how busy they are. Do not know whether DA is applied or still in progress 2> Apply for Land Titles registration that will take another 4 weeks. 3> Settle land contract within 14 days after land registration GL will inform all buyers once DA is approved from council so we can start organising our finance. Re: Greenway Estate, Marsden Park - Community Corner 719Sep 25, 2014 3:49 pm @dudhatra - the following DA which was just approved Thursday last week appears to be related as it mentions stage 1A and 1B.
