Hi all,
Does anyone know if it makes a difference to have the windows / sliding doors installed before the house has been rendered / plastered?
Thanks

Sometimes they are left out for a short time but only if the job has to continue and they are'nt ready from the manufacturer but a complete pain in the neck to try and fit later. Plaster sheet, you may get away with it for a short time so long as the opening is protected from weather but solid plaster no way. The plasterer needs and uses the reveal (edge) of the window frame to trowel to. The spacing of the studs looks pretty large especially for a load bearing wall. 3 8210 Thanks mate, is there a standard off the shelf type breathable product I can apply DIY? Thanks 2 1753 |
