I also can't wait to see the inside design with all your chosen cabinets and tiles etc. I think all the Lennox's on here at the moment look so different and it's nice seeing all the changes and variations. We have finally bought another block so we can get on with building our Lennox again We have pres-start in September and I can't wait Re: Celebration Homes - Lennox - Banksia Grove 85Aug 25, 2014 3:33 pm JMCL Congratulations on being roofed AshShep, yayyyyyy It looks gorgeous and I can't believe how fast everything has gone up, amazing! We have finally bought another block so we can get on with building our Lennox again We have pres-start in September and I can't wait Yay!!! It sure is coming along nicely. So much so that when I got an email from my CC last week telling me the over the next 4 weeks we will reach lock up. Which is actually really great! But I was disappoint and thought WHAT? 4 weeks for plaster, ceiling, cornices and glass are you kidding me that can be done in 2 weeks. ahahaha We all have made a few changes to the lennox designs, I am really chuffed that we did move the store/linen. It does feel more spacious. (Someone else built the Lennox then next street over so we had a good chance to compare). If I was to do prestart again, I would spend more time trying to figure out how I might have accommodated a wall oven in my kitchen. I forgot how nice they were until I housesat for my sister while she was on her honeymoon, but we had already signed the final contract by then. Congrats on finding your block. That is excellent news. Pre start in Sept but will be here in no time at all. Have you chosen all your colours yet? So close to lock up now...it's so exciting! Would love to see a pic of your living area to see what it looks like with the linen moved? I bet it makes your living area look huge! Wait til the white set has been done, it will make it look even bigger!! Our Build - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=69989 Re: Celebration Homes - Lennox - Banksia Grove 88Aug 27, 2014 12:35 pm Wow! It looks awesome!! I've been stealthily following your build - I'm building the Landon (basically the lennox without the study) with the Sol elevation. So I'm very happy to see how great yours looks!! Has your cc given you like a tough timeline other than 4 weeks for lock up? Its fascinating to watch these houses spring up! Re: Celebration Homes - Lennox - Banksia Grove 89Aug 27, 2014 10:27 pm Hi Becksyfreemo We have heard very little from our cc and at the moment we aren't to worried as things are progressing relatively quickly. They started the plastering in the back rooms this week so hopefully that will be finished by Friday. Have you got a thread I can follow? Wait til the white set has been done, it will make it look even bigger!! So so close to look up, they said a month so two more weeks. They just started the plastering, it has made a difference to the size of the bedroom. its crazy how it makes it seem bigger. Its amazing how much roomier it seems for moving the linen. Fingers crossed it will be plastered when we head up again on weekend. I promise to take some pics and post them up for you. I visit my block every day because its about 5 minutes from where I live so I have a bazillion pictures. I'm currently in the middle of bricks, was told it would be 7 more days but given the weather I'm not getting my hopes up. I've been so desperate for things to get done because I have my entire family coming to stay at christmas and I certainly can't fit them all in my current place Do you think you will be in for christmas? How are you tracking on your proposed 24-26 week timeline? Re: Celebration Homes - Lennox - Banksia Grove 92Sep 02, 2014 12:50 am We headed up to the block on Sunday to see how everything was coming along. We were chuffed to see most of the plaster was complete! Here are some pics of what has been done so far. I loved your idea of moving to wil/store next to games room so much I emailed shane straight away to change it on my plan. Thankyou so much for the inspiration. It is so good to be able to see what other people have done. Looks like it is not long now, so jealous! https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=72792&start=0 Re: Celebration Homes - Lennox - Banksia Grove 95Sep 02, 2014 11:02 pm JMCL Oh AshShep, everything is looking great!!! I am so glad we moved the store. We also moved bedroom 3's door, so it didnt feel like you were walking out to the toilet. I never got round to putting up our final plan, I was on holiday at the time, this still isnt it but close enough. You can see how we moved the other door. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The room with the two small windows is the master bedroom. We raised the windows in all the bedrooms to 9c. Main reason for doing this in our master bedroom was because i didn't want my stuff falling down the back of my bedside. ahaha Re: Celebration Homes - Lennox - Banksia Grove 96Sep 02, 2014 11:11 pm becksyfreemo AshShep Hi Becksyfreemo We have heard very little from our cc and at the moment we aren't to worried as things are progressing relatively quickly. How are you tracking on your proposed 24-26 week timeline? Hey Becksyfreemo Things are powering along nicely. We have just moved into week 19. I would like to think we are still on track. Our wall took 8 weeks, it was really wet while it was being built. Plus a couple of minor delays, brickie went on leave for a week and his equipment was stolen from site so took a few days to buy new stuff. I did have to sacrifice my wall oven for it, but i think it was worth it. You gonna love it, it really makes a difference. Re: Celebration Homes - Lennox - lock up this weekend 98Sep 02, 2014 11:38 pm We got an an email from our CC today. She said lock up is booked in for this weekend! It sure is bittersweet, exciting for the progress but we are spewing at the same time as now we might only be peering through windows. Re: Celebration Homes - Lennox - Banksia Grove 99Sep 03, 2014 12:56 am Yayyyyyyy, lock up! You are going to be living in your house in no time Great idea moving bedroom 3's door. I can't do that to mine as I don't think it will look good like yours will as we didn't move our store? Are you buying new furniture etc? I am sooooooo excited about decorating my own place and doing whatever I want - we're planning on being there a while Can't wait to see all the progress with the tiles being laid and cupboards put in etc. I hope you get lots of chances to get inside while the tradies are there working Re: Celebration Homes - Lennox - Banksia Grove 100Sep 03, 2014 10:07 am Looking fantastick ash I think my hand over will be less then one month.i am doing my own carpet tiling and rest of it Ask for references and speak to them.
