The veggie garden is planted, some Lilly Pilly's have been put in, a brand new clothes line and finally a proper pailing fence has just been built. All we wanted to do was make this area usable, but it seems to have upset the neighbors unfortunately. Not sure if they liked the corrugated iron backdrop to the veggie garden or the pailing fence...but it's done now I suppose. The veggies have been in for around a month and they are going off! It's been our 1st veggie garden, so a steep learning curve is in progress. I planted ALL our lettuce and silver beet at once, so now we have heaps. We use the Kale and Silver beet in juices, so we've got heaps! Does anyone know if I can freeze the Kale, and maybe the lettuce, to keep for later?
