Sorry to hear about the frustrations though Love your floor plan - it sure does make good use of the lovely views, and I'm in love with your colour choices. We're also thinking to go greys and love both the before and after tiles - and can't wait to see the platinum micro - it sounds perfect Re: New build in the South West - update! 15Jul 27, 2014 7:39 pm I live the new tile colour - sorry no idea re the paving viewtopic.php?t=62083 Re: New build in the South West - update! 17Jul 27, 2014 11:56 pm MalSannie Hi Rache - I'm with the others - WOW what a spectacular view how fortunate you are. Sorry to hear about the frustrations though Love your floor plan - it sure does make good use of the lovely views, and I'm in love with your colour choices. We're also thinking to go greys and love both the before and after tiles - and can't wait to see the platinum micro - it sounds perfect Thanks MalSannie for your kind words and commiserations! I do feel very lucky to be able to build on such a beautiful property. I still have to pinch myself when I take the dogs for a walk and am surrounded by green paddocks and national forest. The greys have kinda evolved since prestart - I had initially chosen lots of grey/brown tones, and much darker shades. Hoping it will be brighter but still warm now. Really love white, but we have orphan lambies in our kitchen and living area in the winter months and just couldn't see the white holding up so well!! Re: New build in the South West - update! 18Jul 28, 2014 12:05 am Thanks AKB and Melsie. I am much happier with the lighter tile. Fingers crossed! Re: New build in the South West - update! 19Jul 28, 2014 12:22 am Helli rache, thought I'd pop over and have a better look at your build. Your lighter tile is gorgeous - similar tone to what we are having. I would of loved a darker charcoal tile but the thought of calcium marks on dark tile swayed me. Re: New build in the South West - update! 20Jul 28, 2014 12:28 am Yeh you don't won't that . Apparently (which I was told on Friday. Black tiles the worse to choose in wet areas because of calcium build up . Damn no one told me that lol . So I wipe my shower floor every time I have a shower ( trying to teach my partner ) not working . Not a good idea to leave water to dry on dark tiles . Vinegar and bi carb takes it off .but don't let it get bad . But I don't know if it is the same case in living areas .
