However we still have electrical costs to add in there of $3500 plus additional installation costs, roughly $250 for the upgrade of the mortar. That is not including the fence, shed and driveway. But does include the water tanks... and thats all from the base price of $184k... Hope that helps, we had an M class soil as well so nothing too dramatic in site costs. Re: Coral Daydream- Modified Daydream28 -Acre Build in Bucca 13Jul 28, 2014 11:10 am Yes that sounds about right... Just for the house anyway. We have a whole load of landscaping to do , shed, driveway. We spent a small fortune on our split post and hardwood rail fence with dingo wire. At least you aren't further up, lest you get the headlights of cars and trucks coming up Stegemann road. If you look partway down that part of Stegemann road, you'll spot a sign with the 2013 flood level marker... biggest since 1974. Owner Building at Jimboomba Woods in Logan City Qld. Re: Coral Daydream- Modified Daydream28 -Acre Build in Bucca 15Aug 01, 2014 6:57 am Well roof frames are finished... Had a walkaround yesterday and discovered that we dont think the 1.5m shower in the ensuite is quite long enough because we arent having a shower screen. So call to the SS was made and hopefully he comes back with a good answer of whether we can move the wall or not... Building a Modified Coral Daydream 28, first build, first home and land owners. Re: Coral Daydream- Modified Daydream28 -Acre Build in Bucca 17Aug 01, 2014 8:46 am charlinic6 Well roof frames are finished Yes, they go up rather quickly don't they ? Are you getting solar panels on there ? if so, don't get them put on the wrong roof like your nearest neighbour has. Their panels are on the western roof, which means they'll be producing power for only part of the day. They could put them split across their north facing rooves instead. If you know who they are, you should let them know their panels have been put across the wrong roof. You have good open space to point pv panels to the north/north-east sky, subject to the profile of your roof (dunno what the Daydream 28 roof looks like). Won't be long before they put the roof on, then they'll be inside and the brick walls will be up. Owner Building at Jimboomba Woods in Logan City Qld. Re: Coral Daydream- Modified Daydream28 -Acre Build in Bucca 18Aug 01, 2014 8:51 am I still havent had a chance to sign up to flickr or any of the other photo sharing profiles... I have plenty of photos though and I am hoping that I will have a chance this weekend to do it. We are having solar hot water and the panels will be on the right hand side of the property if looking from the street. Hopefully they are in the right location. Its all going quite quick now. Fascias and gutters will be on today, tilers will be there on Monday for prep work. Building a Modified Coral Daydream 28, first build, first home and land owners. Acreage Build in Buccan, QLD. Yes, that's to the north/north-east which is good for up here. The storms comes from the south west here, and the better pv generation comes in the morning whilst it is still not too hot. Afternoon is when the clouds stroll on in, and pv production isn't as good from both that, and the fact that panels are already somewhere up around 50 degrees or more in the sun (pv panel outputs are rated at 25 degrees). Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13745 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1765 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17507 |
