Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Our Journey Flagstone - We are In!!!!! 161Sep 24, 2008 5:44 pm Excellent news on the strapping miss!!! You would never have been 100% happy with it the way it was. Good work I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Our Journey Flagstone - We are In!!!!! 163Oct 10, 2008 8:04 pm Hi Guys,
It's been a bit quiet here as nothing has been happening! Except for my panicking about my kitchen and how I want to change it already (Thanks to Michelle's Interior Decorating Lounge) But I did go to the house today and they are repainting the facade, in the middle of changing the timber strapping (looks much better, even raw) and still waiting for the front doors. After this we should hopefully be in.... but I won't hold my breath. Re: Our Journey Flagstone - We are In!!!!! 164Oct 13, 2008 7:16 pm After waiting 3 weeks for some type of movement on the house, they have started and will be done by end of week
I am soooo excited! Our facade is in the middle of being repainted and the strapping and doors have now been changed. Looks much better. They also had to fix the section above the garage. In regards to my kitchen dillema, looks like there are a few great ideas to consider, so we will move in and then decide on which way to go. Now all we are waiting for is the final invoice (as they did a mistake on the original final one ) and then the keys. I bet it will take another three weeks before the keys are actually handed over, so I'll try my best to calm down Re: Our Journey Flagstone - We are In!!!!! 165Oct 13, 2008 7:18 pm Oooo very nice!!! Well we are finally on our way to moving into our house Yes that's right! The cleaners are at the house today and on Monday we have our very final inspection, then handover of the keys. I can't believe it's actually here So much to do, I never knew how hard it could be. So I spent about 2 hours this morning looking up home/contents insurance and researching different gas/electricity companies. Need to go and buy a temporary letterbox as people have began sending mail to our house Well, I'm heading down later this afternoon to have a peek so I will post some pics ASAP. Re: Our Journey Flagstone - We are In!!!!! 178Oct 25, 2008 3:01 pm Congratulation!!
