Perfect!
Anyway this one can be renamed and moved? Then those that want purchasing advice can start a new one.

I've always enjoyed her posts, they are informative, fun and friendly. Never offensive nor annoying. I do not recall ever seeing a complaint from another forum user about her posts. From just a regular, non-Cloverlea estate person, who happens to read this thread, it seemed to be primarily Sanna's posts, but that's probably because of the numerous one line posts, which consists solely of a link to a photo, and several posts in a row of just that. I'm sure you all like to see what's going on, particulary those of you who live a distance away from your new estate, but 7-10 separate posts one after another for a link to an outside site ? Quote: I fail to see the logic of splitting this forum into multiple threads. Certainly any reasonable person who is planning to buy at a new estate would be interested in the building process and the feedback from those who are actually going through that process. I would safely say that a vast majority of those who plan to buy land at Cloverlea will do it for the sole purpose of building a home here. The two processes can not be separated. This is a forum which has thousands of different threads, however I too saw the multiple threads starting up in the buying land sub forum was rather silly, and detracted from the overall benefits of discussion on this particular estate. Was glad to see they were merged in to this thread. Quote: If you read the 2000+ posts, you will find a fair degree of productive interaction between owners/prospective owners from Stages 2 and 3 with those of Stage 1. It is the individual experiences of forum users such as Sanna that make up the real value of this forum. Actually I started to see this thread degenerating in to more of a chit-chat thread, rather than discussions about the estate itself. No doubt there was some good interaction between the prospective and new owners of land. Quote: This forum has played an important role in creating a community. Please don't try to fix something that works well. Yes, it has developed in to bit of a community, but if you really want a chit-chat sort of community, then perhaps that facebook page would be a better option to chit-chat on, and leave the threads here about issues and concerns about the Cloverlea development ? It is important to keep this thread on track for everyone interested in the development of Cloverlea, particulary those who might be looking at the later stages, to see what the earlier stages went through. Attacking the moderators for doing their job of maintaining the quality of this forum, in particular from reading the last two days of this thread, someone posting the contents of a PM in to this thread, is just not the way to "win friends, and influence people". I am actually an admin of a number of different forums, and know that moderators are "damned if they do, and damned if they don't". Owner Building at Jimboomba Woods in Logan City Qld. Re: Cloverlea Estate - Chirnside Park VIC 2098Jul 17, 2014 9:03 am Hi Kathie, For some reason I was unable to post on the building thread, hope you are still reading this one too. Here is the answer to your question re contacting your neighbours: If they are not on the forum, then you have these two avenues: 1. Write a letter to them and give to Rochelle, she will forward on for you as she has their postal address (possibly email too). This is what we did for our two neighbours not on this forum and it worked. or 2. Go on http://www.yarraranges.vic.gov.au/Prope ... pplication and the Council should provide address details for you Best regards Richard, Richard Re: Cloverlea Estate - Chirnside Park VIC 2100Jul 17, 2014 9:29 am Hi Mali. Which building thread are you referring to? Yeah I don't know why I came to a forum. Place is full of wierdos/pedos thought internet may help but I suppose I'll try my luck with someone in person. Cheers. I tried… 0 7015 I have posted this before: We hired Darbecca to do every stage inspection, and I strongly recommend them to anyone that asks me. They were amazing. Thorough reports… 2 5273 |
