I dont know why they only program it to cool one zone at a time. I think they are scared their design will not work. TOM88 Is the Daiken unit just for cooling or heating also? Re: Carlisle Home - Brivis add on refrigerated air condition 14Jul 03, 2014 10:04 pm In that case I would be considering a GAS heating system. You should always be demnsioning for the system you are going to use the most. GAS is cheaper to run. This is why I went for the brivisi system. Re: Carlisle Home - Brivis add on refrigerated air condition 16Jul 12, 2014 10:22 pm Hello All, Firstly I'm building the Claremont 35 and I'm wanting to install ducted refrigerated cooling/heating through another company. Carlisle are not allowing any other contractors onsite during the build so I have to do this after handover. I want to know is this possible to do especially on the first floor? I'm wanting to install multiple zones 6 or more. Carlisle have said they can install provisions for this, but I'm not sure what they mean by provision, does this mean they will install the ducts, vents and electrical work? and I install the unit I want? You cold get them to do ducts, but given you're already doing the install after handover, it would be cheaper if you dont have them install the ducts. Re: Carlisle Home - Brivis add on refrigerated air condition 18Aug 02, 2014 4:48 pm I spoke to a Brivis installer for a refrigerated air con quote. He said he could do installation for approximately 11k, as long as we got the ducts air con ready. carlisle are quoting us over 16k. So we asked carlisle to quote us for getting place air con ready and we were quoted nearly 7k so it would be more expensive to do it after!!! They certainly know what they are doing with regards to stopping people from doing the cheaper option afterwards!!! Re: Carlisle Home - Brivis add on refrigerated air condition 19Aug 02, 2014 10:12 pm Just get the after market guy to do your ducts too.
