We changed our mind on some items twice after prestart. There were some things we really wanted but just couldn't justify the costs (I.e supplying our own kitchen appliances). Re: Building with Dale Alcock SOR 20Jun 18, 2014 10:38 am We spent about $7k on electrics but our house is a lot smaller than yours, just lots of power points and down lights, now that we've done PCI I'm wondering if I went just that little bit overboard especially with outside lights as we lit up areas we won't be using. But better to have more than less I figure. We had $4k worth of smart wiring included but we spent a bit more, probably $5k as well I think.
