We are awaiting for settlement on the 9th of April next week, and our builder is Carlisle. So far our experience has been good and stressful at the same time, I want to remind everyone to check their contracts carefully and make sure you have your name the same as your passport. This simple mistake had caused us delays in the processing of our loan documents, we had to make amendments to our existing contract and the whole process was a headache, aside from these, Stockland gave us the wrong folio number for our lot and carlisle took a long time to amend our contract, and to top it all, our lawyer is going on a 3 weeks holiday starting on the 10th of April giving us only a few days to get everything ready. We had to fast track everything with our bank and hopefully they will give us the confirmation this coming Monday if we can settle on the 9th. Our lawyer said if we can't settle on the 9th we will have to wait until she comes back, this makes me really upset. Why the heck do we have to wait for her? Is it too late to get another lawyer at this point? Can anyone please give me advice? Hi Ginaguevarra If you buy in a Mugese crc you may have a bit of fill on your block so could be a class p/h1 or p/h2 Hi insider, what is P/h1 mean? Is that good or bad? Re: Nevada 35 in Selandra Rise 14Jun 17, 2014 11:41 am We like the idea of having a window in a benley facade and a sliding door in the master bedroom. Rather than just having the sliding door itself. i don't know if i could get it done with a window and a door for breeze. We are thinking to just do the same as the display home in truganina, with the choise of color and bricks. But the price is from 2013. I don't know how much it will cost us now for that same features. We went to see the display homes in truganina because we would like to see the bentley facade. It is good from the outside, i just don't like the inside in regards to the color combinations. The one in cranbourne north is a lot better from the inside in terms of color choices. Which laminate floor did you go for if you don't mind me asking? We are also considering laminated flooring if our budget will blow out. Hi Ginaguevarra It just means problem site due to the amount of fill and h1 means highly reactive natural clay below the fill so if the builder quotes a standard class m type slab there may be some extra cost for you slab. But your particular block may be ok with no fill so you won't really know until the soil test is done. Re: Nevada 35 in Selandra Rise 16Jun 17, 2014 9:33 pm Hi Insider, It's good we are on a fixed site cost, did not pay extra for the fill, Carlisle did not charge us anything. They did a small fill on the front just to level the land so now our land has a better elevation. It's good to be higher than our neighbors. Re: Nevada 35 in Selandra Rise 18Jun 24, 2014 11:59 am hello ginaguevarra, that is awesome, your build is so quick, i am so excited to see your house once finished from the outside. by the way, what brick did you choose for your house? i am thinking to get chestnut, which will fall onto cat.1A i don't have to pay extra. thank you. Re: Nevada 35 in Selandra Rise 19Jun 25, 2014 7:20 pm Hi chaden6 We chose chestnut too. It looks really nice with brown colors. I've seen it in my niece's house, it looks amazing! Hello, Whats peoples current experience building with Carlisle, specifically in SouthEast Melbourne? We are currently building in SE Melbourne and finding that quality… 0 9168 We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 36896 Thanks for your reply. I will just wait and see I guess. Trying to get some more information from our builder. 9 29918 |
