Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building at Willowdale 305Jun 01, 2014 12:07 pm That was my next question lol. Weather looks poor but not really raining. I'll give em a ring Re: Building at Willowdale 308Jun 01, 2014 2:21 pm We were just there and it was pouring.. looked like they were packing up.. such a shame it looked like a nice setup. Re: Building at Willowdale 309Jun 01, 2014 3:06 pm Hi everyone, have you come to the stage where you have lodged your house plan for developer approval and/or you have received feedback and amend requirements? The design guideline seems very basic and reasonable but I just wonder if this is the case. Thanks for sharing!! ![]() Re: Building at Willowdale 310Jun 01, 2014 3:20 pm ![]() We were just there and it was pouring.. looked like they were packing up.. such a shame it looked like a nice setup. I showed up but it was cold and wet, so got a coffee and looked for our block and then left. Using Tapatalk Re: Building at Willowdale 311Jun 01, 2014 3:31 pm The land seems pretty flat in the picture, has anyone done the contour survey and bushfire assessment? I'm just a bit nervous on the site cost, and hope to find out what the cost likes. Eg cut and fills beams. I understand the cost is varied depends on the site, but just want to know what's expected. At this stage, I know the land requires H1 class slab and is saline affected soil. Bushfire rating is low for most of the lands but still require assessment for each site when submit for council approval. Was helpful to make sure all dev requirements were adhered to prior to submission, which ensured no amendments required. It took only a couple of days from submission to receive approval. Just waiting on conveyancer to advise me of balance + costs for settlement, scheduled for Friday 6th, then final site requirements from survey & council, then final plan review, then hopefully not long after that construction can commence ![]() Good luck with developer submission ![]() Re: Building at Willowdale 313Jun 01, 2014 7:06 pm ![]() ![]() Hi everyone, have you come to the stage where you have lodged your house plan for developer approval and/or you have received feedback and amend requirements? That's should be simple enough. According to your description, you should obtain the council approval in June and commence to build by end of July. It's great to obtain developer approval before registration, so site work can be started right after settlement. You would be first to move in by Christmas and have Christmas decorating light on in Willowdale ![]() Also to everyone, good luck in the settlement day:) Re: Building at Willowdale 314Jun 02, 2014 10:07 am Hi all, Did anyone secure land in the glasswing release on the weekend?
