Thanks for sharing your upgrade costs, this will plan for people like me who are doing all these calculation before going for color selection and color browse appointments. When is you build actually starting? The floor tiles you selected, is it from Category 1? Are these Ceramic or Porcelain tiles? Site Cut: 15/01/15 Slab: 03/02/15 Frame: 12/02/15 Lockup: 04/03/15 Fix: 16/03/15 Re: Building Riva 29 With Carlisle Homes 15May 15, 2014 8:46 pm Hi f1rst_h0me We are waiting for our land to title first. Build should be around August Yes the tiles are from Cat 1 and just plain ceramic tiles. Hope this helps. Re: Building Riva 29 With Carlisle Homes 16May 23, 2014 9:32 am We just bought in Pasadena right down the road We got a quote for the riva as we loved it too! we think we've decided to go with botanic homes, but we are yet to get a quote for them so The Riva is our back up if they are way over budget (which is possible even though they've assured us they can match it) I can't wait to watch your build Re: Building Riva 29 With Carlisle Homes 17May 25, 2014 5:26 pm Congrats on your land purchase LaceyM Which design are you building with Botanic Homes? We have our contract signing appointment with Carlisle tomorrow and should have a bank valuation on our project soon after. We're stressing out BIG time for our valuation as we have 2 friends building in the same estate and theirs were undervalued by $30k (and they didn't even go all out on upgrades) Re: Building Riva 29 With Carlisle Homes 18May 25, 2014 6:24 pm melanie_ctw Congrats on your land purchase LaceyM Which design are you building with Botanic Homes? We're stressing out BIG time for our valuation as we have 2 friends building in the same estate and theirs were undervalued by $30k (and they didn't even go all out on upgrades) Its called the 'bale 4' although we had to make it a bit smaller to fit our 14m frontage! Yeah ive learnt that happens a lot especially with land im hoping well be ok as our land was a bit cheap as it doesn't title til march 2015! best of luck to you )) !!! Re: Building Riva 29 With Carlisle Homes 19Jun 20, 2014 11:05 pm We settled on our land today Can't wait to move on to the build stage!! We actually cut back on some of the upgrades we did to the house as a few of our friends building in the same estate as us had their projects under-valued by $30k. Our bank valuation came back last week and we got valued pretty much the same as the purchase price *phewwwww* SOOO relieved!! We had been stressing out big time about this valuation as we would have had to delay the build by a few months if there was any shortfall. Our experience with Stockland has been shocking so far - we've hit a massive hiccup. We went to visit our land at the start of June....and our driveway crossover was built on the wrong side of the Lot (Left side instead of Right). Our conveyancer immediately flagged this to Stockland prior to settlement date and Stockland advised in an email that they were going to re-locate the crossover as a matter of urgency. To date, we've followed up multiple times requesting for the crossover re-location or a timeframe of when this mistake will be fixed. Stockland is refusing to put anything down in writing in terms of dates or timeframes. They just keep saying they will fix it but cannot tell us when. What the..?? Our builder has informed us that we need to re-locate the crossover by the second week of July otherwise we will have delays with our build I think we're going to have to engage a solicitor to help us fight this with Stockland or else, we might be waiting a long long time before the crossover is relocated. I can't believe this is happening sighs... Carlisle use to sneak a water resistant "Performance Solution" into their contracts. Have you checked your contract for same? 4 11815 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending.
