Trying to get this information from M is remarkably difficult. I have a few other cost estimate questions if anyone can help: 1) Increasing the height of the ceiling from 2.4 to 2.8? Upstairs and downstairs? 2) Wooden walk in wardrobes such as in show homes? 3) Stainless/Glass staircase? 4) Typical costs per bathroom for floor to ceiling tiling? 5) Extra wide front door 6) Wider internal doors 7) Shadowline ceilings Continuation of kitchen cabinets to the AV living area 9) Hardwood flooring downstairs Thanks for all the help. Re: Big M / Metr!con Homes: - Studio M & Upgrade Prices! 112Mar 13, 2014 7:27 pm These prices are close and will give you some idea: 2700 ceiling in lieu of standard was $2100 downstairs (35sq home) 2550 upstairs in lieu of standard was $1606; Continuation of kitchen cabinets to lounge was $3500 - $4500. Extra wide front door was $1500 (from memory) Stainless glass staircase with hardwood treads was $5000 (from memory) Floor to ceiling tiles ($300 - $500) per wall M doesn't do hardwood floors but you can do them post handover; however you may be left to do the skirtings yourselves. We went with bamboo which are thick and feel like a hardwood floor underfoot Re: Big M / Metr!con Homes: - Studio M & Upgrade Prices! 114Jun 05, 2014 10:05 am Just thought I would add some prices as at 2014 as this thread is abit old. Re: Big M / Metr!con Homes: - Studio M & Upgrade Prices! 120Jun 20, 2017 9:38 am Hi All Been over 1 year since anything on this topic it is very informative thread. We are just starting going through the motions with metricom building in south east Brisbane. Would like to ask how Studio M tile upgrade package works want to up grade to 600x600 have tile std package in contract how does the $40 sqm upgrade price work out. Or is it best to do living areas after hand over have found same tiles half that price. Thank you I would suggest you simply go and talk to council about your proposal, most councils are getting onboard with ancillary dwellings. There is no benefit in keeping it… 1 4106 Tradie may sit at home but will need to get house plastered as well or will you sit it out? 6 9965 How do you remove one of these ceiling air con vents? And is it possible to disconnect the duct joined to the vent from inside the house, without going into the roof cavity? 0 5933 |
