Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Moved in!! 545Mar 13, 2014 3:58 pm Thanks everyone.. im really trying to keep my cool but two weeks later and we still waiting for carpets to be fixed im not a happy camper.. i had the wedding on my mind before so it wasnt frustrating me but now its all i think about it.. Hopefully done by this weekend.. To make things even better my poor furbaby has done her cruciate ligament and they have quoted us 3-4k to do surgery.. everything comes in 3's.. There is a very long list of items to be fixed for the 140 day check. Congrats on the wedding and finally being in your own home...but wow what a mess they have made. You've done well to keep your cool so far...I definitely wouldn't have dealt with that unexpected water feature very well!!! Hope your poor fur baby pulls up okay too.. Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Moved in!! 547Mar 14, 2014 1:55 am Congrats on the wedding and being in the house! How frustrating for the water feature and other issues. Fingers crossed they are fixed for you soon. Hope the furbaby recovers well Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Moved in!! 548Mar 14, 2014 10:27 am Thanks Hopefully the carpet guys come in today and fix it.. its been a week since they brought in the fans and ripped up the carpet and underlay.. We have internet now at home so will upload some more pics soon.. Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - PCI!! 549Mar 14, 2014 1:43 pm Nicci Well we moved in and were able to get the keys on time.. sadly the house wasnt fully finished.. toilet was leaking, the site clean never happened..the house was filthy.. we spent friday night and saturday morning cleaning and then moved saturday day/arvo.. (cigarette burns in our shelving.. honestly!) As the shower had only been sealed on friday we thought we wouldnt use the shower as the toilet in ensuite was broken too.. monday morning the hubby decided to use the shower and thats when it all happened.. the ensuite flooded and bedroom 2 on the public holiday.. we have found out the plumber drilled the shower head into the water pipe.. we had a water feature in our powerpoint with a nice steady flow of water.. my straightener was plugged in but thankfully not on.. Its taken 9 days and the house is still having tradies come in and repair.. they have done the best they could but i am still unimpressed its not fixed fully.. carpets are the last to be done.. my relaxing week off before the wedding was hectic with being around and up for all the tradies coming and going.. be glad when its all over.. other than that, we love the house and cant wait until we all settled with no issues.. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c167/nixter_/4C443687-78CD-4978-AEEE-4059871FEBD5_zpsd0fxm28e.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c167/nixter_/79FC574F-E9E2-408F-975E-75323FAF1CFF_zpsgslwr7zs.jpg That is terrible and shocking!!!!!! very poor...i didn't expect this from HGWA...if it was my house...oh no I cant imagine that... i hope things will improve Nicci.... I know how frustrating it is after waiting so long to get to this stage. This shows how poor quality is HGWA's build, we have number of issues with our build - our HGWA build looks like an IKEA flat pack put together as i am not happy at all with our build. I think HGWA concentrating on 'quantity' not 'quality'... Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Moved in!! 550Mar 17, 2014 10:20 am Oh no, thats awful for you guys.. thankfully we are happy with mostly everything else in the house.. we said that you guys have taken on too much work and they flat out said no we have not, it takes so long as we focus on quality, i just about wanted to laugh out loud.. its takes so long because they understaffed and overworked.. hopefully timelines start getting faster for HGWA builders Our carpets were somewhat layed on friday but its the worst job i have ever seen.. its not stretched and has bubbles in it.. i dont want to go through the maintenance team i want actual layers to fix it now.. plus a good steam clean in the bathroom as the grout and tiles are stained and yuck.. we will get there Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Moved in!! 551Mar 19, 2014 11:59 pm Just been catching up on your thread Nicci, Speechless...sorry to hear about the issues thats happening, hope the building stuff gets sorted property and your fur baby has a speedy recovery. The house has been put on the back burner after paying for furbabies triple tibial osteotomy.. goodbye backyard!! We removed the soil and leveled the front ready for landscaping.. hopefully itll happen before we go on honeymoon but who knows.. Shes one unhappy girl.. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c167/nixter_/FD740921-BC0A-4A6A-9FFF-D9EEF43A0C1F_zpsvgpq0ouo.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c167/nixter_/6EA16318-264A-453E-9AB0-95183D791470_zpstbkmmi8m.jpg Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Moved in!! 556Mar 25, 2014 10:30 pm Ouch! I know this is a few months later, but i'm really curious to hear how everything is going now??? I'm also worried, as we have just signed up with HGWA but this is the first time i have seen / heard anything negative about them. Everything else i have read / seen / heard has been fantastic. I did my research and decided to go with HGWA out of 4 builders, we are pretty happy with our decision. They've been great so far. Glad to hear your fur baby is ok. Would love to hear an update and any advice coming from you who've so unfortuantely had to deal with so much stress and problems with your build. 14 Dreng Way, Brabham Signed Land Contract - 29/06/2014 Finance Formal approval - 16/09/2014 Prestart - 30/04/2015 Titles - 22/05/2015 Building Permit - 25/05/2015 Land settled - Slab - Bricks - Joe, it depends on your certifier but we are noticing the ones we deal with are really cracking down.
