PCI Booked!!! 127Mar 11, 2014 9:46 pm It wasn't unexpected AKB, as Redink allow the payment of prestart variations with the final payment - and my variations included septics and things so were about $40000. But what they've done is just added everything up - here's the contract amount, here's your variations, here's what you owe us. Trouble is that there's $45,000 in provisional sums in the contract, to allow them to charge me more if site works were higher than expected. I can't imagine them not charging me if the price went over what's in the contract so, because the total's so large I just want to check those ... PCI Booked!!! 128Mar 11, 2014 10:13 pm I know with our kerb security we have to wait until city of Fremantle comes out and checks it and then refunds if all ok with the kerb. We got our keys mid feb and a month later still haven't heard anything - don't know if that's normal. Hopefully they can work that number down for you! Re: Building with Redink in Jarrahdale... PCI Booked!!! 129Mar 11, 2014 10:19 pm Yeah I hear you .....I'm probably shocked because I try and break my expenses down to 20 grand at a time (doesn't always work but it's my aim) <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=62083">viewtopic.php?t=62083</a><!-- l --> Re: Building with Redink in Jarrahdale... PCI Booked!!! 130Mar 12, 2014 12:16 am Good to know asj. Will clarify that with Redink tomorrow and then may be on the phone to the council ... definitely wouldn't be keen on a lengthy wait as that $2000 definitely would be handy And I've had a while to get used to the idea of this last invoice AKB, but it still makes me feel a bit sick! PCI Booked!!! 131Mar 12, 2014 1:14 pm Good luck getting an itemised list.....when I asked for it at the end of our build they told me they don't do it. I wanted to check what they had actually charged us for the provisional sums because Iam sure they charged me for scaffolding & they never used any on my build. I'm pretty sure they are required by law to show you copies of all receipts etc for all those provisional sums, like site works. I found this on the Master Builders site: It is important to note that the builder must supply all invoices, receipts and other documents to the owner as soon as practicable after receiving the invoice, receipt or documents. Failure to comply may lead to substantial penalties to the builder. http://www.mbav.com.au/vpLink.aspx?ID=8081#6 Re: Building with Redink in Jarrahdale... PCI Booked!!! 133Mar 12, 2014 5:21 pm I thought the same thing. If you request an itemised invoice from a company or service provider they are required, by law, to provide you with one. Surely this extends to builders? Building with Dale Alcock Homes in Aveley Our thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=63880 And yes, my pants are indeed fancy. Re: Building with Redink in Jarrahdale... PCI Booked!!! 135Mar 12, 2014 8:28 pm Yeah Melsie Luke is my SS. Haven't met him but it seems like he does a good job Do you know if the new CL (Katie?) is up and running yet? I need to call about the provisional sums (couldn't get through to anyone today) and found it quite painful as I couldn't just go "can I talk to ..." I'll be a bit peeved Charlie if they won't itemise - it's an awful lot of money to just take the total on faith. I wanted to make sure that what I had been quoted for site works, etc had been utlised or credited. She told me in no uncertain terms they would not give me the costs. I hope you have better luck than me. Our RedInk Build Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64118&p=1004131#p1004131 ** Timeline Page 1 Moved In - 19.12.13 Re: Building with Redink in Jarrahdale...
