Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4871Feb 22, 2014 6:20 pm Hi All, We are doing our electrical plan and are confused by how many led downlights we need. Does anyone know what wattage or better yet how many lumens downlights Carlisle use? Is there a general rule for how many downlights we should allow for per room, per square? We are building the Randwick 29. I'm using Loan Studio and I haven't heard anything about a voucher...? Hi Tempest, The voucher is a promotion that was done by Carlisle in 2013 for T-range homes if we choose to take all 4 extra packs Thanks for clarifying Bakso! I signed up in November 2013 and opted for all four packages at the time but I'm guessing they had stopped the voucher offer by then. Oh well. Would've been nice but such is life. Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4874Feb 23, 2014 12:11 pm TempestSkye Damom Hey Sneakerss Thanks for the info, very helpful. Hopefully if we go with them we come across the same person. Yes we are buying a t range home but the spectra voucher is an incentive from loan studio to go with them, regardless of the house type I think. What's this spectra voucher? I'm using Loan Studio and I haven't heard anything about a voucher...? Hi tempest sky, We deposited on 31st oct and when I spoke to loan studio they were offering a $500 spectra voucher. We didn't use them as I used my broker. Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4876Feb 23, 2014 1:54 pm Sojn Can I know what color do you choose? which house are you building and where is the display house? I looks like they may have put the wrong color. All Carlisle display house that I visit use warm white as their lights color. In this case, the display house wall if it effected by the warm white lights, it will be creamier not grayer. If your SS state that the display house is grayer because of the lights, he must be wrong. Go to your house, take a picture at a room (no blitz) and go to the display house and do the same thing. then you can compare them exactly. Thank you Bakso, We chose the wall colour from the Barwon (double story) display at Ambrosia. We are building the Indaina ( single story). The colour is dulax 'Grand piano'.... We did not expect it to be the same as the display cause of the size of the two houses.....but it has come out totally different! My SS says it is the 'grand piano' that they have used & cannot do anything about it..... Will try to take photos & justify our argument! Thank you again!
If the colour is vastly different (eg - say yours is much darker) then likely the display was "Grand Piano Half" or "Grand Piano quarter" - the half and quarter versions of any colour come up very different - search on the dulux website or go to Bunnings and see. It would be easy for a sales rep to just say "grand piano" rather then "grand piano half". Always then double check the colour on the web or at local hardware store. Going "half" and "quarter" is very common these days. We were informed by the SC that at the display centre that it was full strength ' Grand Piano'. We picked up an A4 size sample from the paint shop before we made the final decision. I really cannot understand how it could be so different between the two houses! I really cannot understand how it could be so different between the two houses!
contact dulux to see if they can actually confirm that the colour is grand Piano by way of a site visit - or alternatively get 1 litre tinted at bunnings and pain on some plasterboard and compare - I have had incorrect paint tinted in the past - if its different then the original paint has not been tinted correctly and would be defined as a fault and the painter should repaint in the correct colour - if the paint is the same then nothing you can do about it as that's what you had choosen and thats what was tinted. 0 4986 We are at the stage on our build in Kilcoy, Queensland where we need to get our fencing installed but we cant get any contact details for our neighbours to give them… 0 6165 You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14120 |
