Does anyone know please?
Is there a standard compensation rate per mm that the works is over the tolerance level by? If so how do we find out or does the tribunal member decide and how does he work it out? What is his guideline?
As per 2.07 Finished floor levels of Page 18 of The Guide to Standards and Tolerances 2007
Finished floor levels (FFL) or reduced levels (RL) are defective when:
>> They do not comply with the planning and building requirements, for example minimum levels in flood prone areas Not relevant
>> They depart from the documented RL or FFL by more than 40mm
>> Floors that are documented to be on the same plane but are constructed on different planes , or
>> The building work is an extension...blah blah Not relevant
Any ideas how I find this info? the lawyer is looking into it but I wanted to see if I can find something myself to save some $$ from this ever increasing money pit. Thanks in advance
