Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 186Jan 21, 2014 6:29 pm Hello everyone, It has been nice going through and reading how excited everyone is for Appin Valley looks like it is going to be a nice family place to live. Me, my fiancé and our 7 month old son will be one of your neighbours. We are so excited this is our first home and we can't wait. We have been living with my parents for the last year and 2 months. We are in stage two fingers crossed that the land is ready when they say I want my house already. Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 187Jan 21, 2014 6:33 pm Welcome Alexdavid, I think it will be..haven't heard from many in stage 3 yet, I wonder what time registration for stage 3 will be if stage 2 is 31st march??? Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 189Jan 21, 2014 7:52 pm Welcome Alexdavid! What lot are you? I have heard the same June/July for Stage 3 but Stage 1&2 was supposed to be Feb so who knows? We just got our mortgage docs - that certainly takes the excitment out of building a house for a bit :/ Researching a build in South Australia from Sydney. Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 190Jan 21, 2014 8:04 pm We are block 2072 corner block. We got preapproved two weeks ago not sure what happens from then. Who are you building with we are almost signed with beechwood. We are looking at the Brampton with Seville front. Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 191Jan 21, 2014 8:11 pm They don't have the map online for stage 2 anymore but we are also a corner block on Post Mill Rd Lot 2078! It took about 6 weeks for us to submit everything and get formal approval from the bank but we did a house and land together so it was slightly different. We just needed our fixed tender price as well as the land contract to apply for formal approval. We are building with Meridian Homes! They are a smaller builder and were really flexible which we really liked. Researching a build in South Australia from Sydney.
