What else have they got to do now? building with Redink Prestart 21/3/13 Slab down 12/6/13 Brickwork started 5/8/13 Brickwork finished 26/8/13 Roof frame 6/9/13 Colorbond 26/9/13 Grey float 11/10/13 white set 17/10/13 Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 543Jan 13, 2014 10:14 pm No idea cedes but I guess there are quite a few things that need to be fixed now. Wrong door, two holes in wall, one which they pulled my subway tiles out for (?!!!), a missing PowerPoint which has now been tiled over, a gap between the tiles and window sill in kitchen... The list of things that are wrong seems I get bigger each time we visit. So just need services, fly screens and a/c control panel Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 544Jan 13, 2014 10:48 pm Love the bookcase end in the kitchen. What a great idea. Building in Myalup with Redink PCQ : Nov 2012 Prestart: 17 th March 2013 Builders Permit: Sept 2013 Completed build Aug 2014 viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67559 Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 545Jan 14, 2014 12:19 am We went up tonight and the back door was open so we had a good stick beak. Some of the plastering is bloody awful, really uneven with gouges out of it. They'll be fixing that for sure. Also we have grey light switches, except in the girls bathroom where they have thrown in a random white one?????? We haven't got our a/c control panel either, wonder when they go in? building with Redink Prestart 21/3/13 Slab down 12/6/13 Brickwork started 5/8/13 Brickwork finished 26/8/13 Roof frame 6/9/13 Colorbond 26/9/13 Grey float 11/10/13 white set 17/10/13 Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 546Jan 14, 2014 10:31 am You have lovely door handles Yeah looking at that door again I hope they fix that up for you, it's def not acceptable. https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64434 Building our own custom design based on the Elwood by Dale Alcock Land settled - November Plans submitted to council - January Prestart - March Slab - 18 September Brickies - 23 October Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 547Jan 14, 2014 11:41 am Thanks navs The door looks a bit better now, though it is was too dark. I am disappointed that it really is not what we had in mind and not what we showed the interior designer we wanted. Anyway not much I can do about that I think Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 550Jan 14, 2014 3:36 pm OH gosh I hate seeing holes bashed into new walls. Front door will look better to use once the glass is cleaned up Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 551Jan 14, 2014 4:32 pm Yeah - upsetting because we paid our own tiler to do these and I am not sure builder will do as good job. Plus they were just planning to use whatever grout we had leftover (from other tiles) and I have said 'no - you need to match the grout already used and go but some more' Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 552Jan 14, 2014 5:45 pm What was their reason for the hole where the subway tiles were? https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64434 Building our own custom design based on the Elwood by Dale Alcock Land settled - November Plans submitted to council - January Prestart - March Slab - 18 September Brickies - 23 October Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 555Jan 14, 2014 10:31 pm Sorry to see you've had a few problems asj25, hope they all get rectified soon which im sure they will Fly screens getting installed is exciting! Looks like it wont be long until your home is ready!! Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 556Jan 14, 2014 10:36 pm Hey Rosieandchris - just minor issues. Think at this stage you just want it done and you have less patience haha! The only things I'm really worried about/annoyed/think they wont fix is the excessive paint on the walls and the putty filled holes the size of my head. Surely if the holes are that big they can render properly. The tiles will get fixed I am sure. Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 557Jan 15, 2014 11:14 pm Driveway service cut started today. Unfortunately they haven't filled it back in...so our poor neighbours can't get in their house...oh dear. Hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow otherwise I don't think neighbours will be too happy (and rightly so!). But so far it seems fairly successful in that we haven't had to rip up and replace entire driveway. Fingers remain crossed! Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 558Jan 16, 2014 7:54 pm So so so happy! Trench done, sand back in, garage door done! Woo hoo! Best thing is that someone has been in with a bunch of red dots highlighting all the problems! So so so happy!! Most of the mistakes I had on my list had a red dot next to them! Re: Redink SOR rear build - PCI in sight...sort of? 559Jan 16, 2014 10:28 pm That's amazing!! So so happy to hear that!! I bet it will be all smooth sailing now! Hi All, see above image.
