Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building in Willowdale 32Jan 08, 2014 6:40 pm I know they said June-September land registration for the latest emperor release, but would it be a lot later? Should we add an extra few months to the expected date? Considering there's Willowdale, OPT, the Hermitage, Gregory Hills and Harrington Grove all being under Camden Council as far as I'm aware. Using Tapatalk Re: Building in Willowdale 33Jan 08, 2014 7:42 pm Most registrations end up taking a bit longer than they should so I would add on a couple extra months. http://camdenbuild.blogspot.com.au/ by invite only please pm me Re: Building in Willowdale 34Jan 08, 2014 10:11 pm Kimba88 Again I can only speak from a WH perspective but we have a fixed price contract that is just that, fixed no hidden costs. What others do will vary and I have heard horror stories but the only way to be sure is to check the contract and the inclusions in detail and ask all the questions you have to the prospective builder's. Regarding registration, the punctuality of the first release will be a good indication to future releases. Normally things are brought forward not back but recently many areas have been going the other way. Re: Building in Willowdale 35Jan 09, 2014 8:12 am blackenator So went to a view display homes today out in the ponds and in mulgoa and all from the information they gave me their is going to be quite a large display village in leppington so confused if thats going to be a good thing or a bad thing : } The display village will be completed in 2015 sometime due to 3000 homes going into the Willowdale estate itself. Re: Building in Willowdale 36Jan 17, 2014 1:01 pm I received calls from number of builders that they should have lands in Willowdale soon and whether I'm interested, I believe there will be new land release very soon. Re: Building in Willowdale 38Jan 17, 2014 1:29 pm Redfernpoint I received calls from number of builders that they should have lands in Willowdale soon and whether I'm interested, I believe there will be new land release very soon. So will alot of the blocks be brought already before its public release by certain builders? then if someone wants that particular block they obviously have to use that builder? Re: Building in Willowdale 39Jan 17, 2014 1:46 pm Yes Alonso that is how it works when builders have an agreement with the developer. If they do not sell the land within a certain time period then the block is released back to the developer and usually to the general public. What percentage of each land release will be already owned by the builders? 50% you think usually ? go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 111149 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11260 |
