Browse Forums Building A New House Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4537Jan 06, 2014 5:11 pm Hi ubet7 & wirepower Thanks for your responses & costs on Ref Air Con... Has anyone thought of or changed their mind for Evaporative cooling? Interested in that cost for double storey Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4538Jan 06, 2014 5:15 pm My sister has evaporative cooling she says it's a waste of money she never uses it as it doesn't cool her house properly she went and had two split systems installed. She says she wish she spend the cost of the evaporative on more split systems. She has a double storey house. I've also heard issue with moisture ruining things Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4539Jan 06, 2014 6:09 pm Thanks for all the info! Has anyone got the latest quote for upgrading to 600x600 porcelain polished tiles? Building the double storey 35 sqm tiles on entry, kitchen and family only. Still arguing with hubby if it's worth the upgrade. I want the polished look with very minimal grout space between tiles. Do you guys know if you get from 400x400 standard cat 1 tiles? Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 4540Jan 06, 2014 7:04 pm ubet7 if you want the biggest unit 20.5 kw ref cooling with MX 35I heating $15,505 If you want to upgrade the MX35I heating to HX 35I heating (6 stars) $1,015 If you want 4 zones with each having their own network controller $4,307 - this enables 4 individual zones - has 4 motors etc. I have just noted Brivis has a new range of the cooling units so will be in contact with carlisle to find out any changes that may need to be made. The old R22 gas has been replaced with R410 - better for environ but the old R22 was more efficient for cooling. All the 240 volt models are now inverter whereas the 3 phase 450 volt units (18kw and 22kw) are still conventional. It's so good to read about these costs and details! I'd read as much as I could understand from the Brivis website but of course that doesn't give any idea about costs. Thanks, ubet7! What the difference between inverter and conventional? 0 4975 We are at the stage on our build in Kilcoy, Queensland where we need to get our fencing installed but we cant get any contact details for our neighbours to give them… 0 6155 You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14099 |
