Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Nov 22, 2013 2:19 pm Hi I am not a gardens back side. I live in a rental house and the front lawn and rear yard ( no lawn in rear hard really doesn't have anything they have wood chipped it and put down some blue rock paths) now I think I have read in other posts you need to kill them during winter. But what's the best solution now. I do t want to spend much coin on it as its a rental. I have sprayed most if them in the back yard with zero and pulled alot of them out. Um really just want to know for future reference what to do. Is the prickle them selves the seed ? I guess the germinate when they are in flower then they dry out dropping the prickles hence the following years crop. So I guess barring picking them all up some how. There isn't much that can be done. To be honest not to concerned about it in this place because hopefully my new house will be starting to get built in jan. But would like to know for future reference. Any advice would be much appreciated. Re: Bindies 2Dec 17, 2013 10:06 am Hi, I've held off answering as hoped someone else would do so. Posting a pic would be helpful as I think bin die is different name in different states for different weeds. Bindie, double gee, bull's head, caltrop can all be different weeds.
