We also have a self chlorine/ph auto gadget - which I'm glad we got. Re: Cloudy swimming pool water?? 6Dec 16, 2013 2:01 pm The correct process for your problem is: 1) Pour in chemicals to kill the algae, brush everywhere to agitate 2) Do not run filter for at least 24 hrs to let algae settle 3) Vacuum pool floor sides, etc to waste 4) Refill lost pool water and backwash filter 5) Pour in liquid water clarifier and turn on filter/pool cleaner as normal or following water clarifier instructions 6) Enjoy your pool again the next day:) Greg The last home I lived in didn't have a pool and when i went to sell it the agents were not happy, even telling me to put one in to sell the place.
