And also what would be the average price per metre to pay in this area? Hey tanibops, we are going with geelong fencing suppliers and the cost is $50 per meter. So really only $25 once you go halves with your neighbours. Re: anyone building in armstrong creek? 451Dec 30, 2013 6:46 am My Wife and I just paid the $1,000 dollars to reserve a 520sqm block in stage 28 near a park and not far from the Catholic primary school. It settles in July. Hopefully this time in a year we will be in it. We cant decide between 3 designs from 3 different builders. All very simlar on layout. Metricon - Lumeah, Porter Davis - London and JG King Homes - Sparta1. Apparently JG King use steel frame! Is this a good thing or not? Re: anyone building in armstrong creek? 452Dec 30, 2013 5:52 pm Just had a look through home buyers centre today and found an ideal house. Price seams fair and the consultant was very helpful and the productreview site rates them the best with highest feedback score out of any builders with more than 50 reviews. We were looking at design my Metricon, anybody heard stories about the slabs that are used for the area? Thanks Sharon Re: anyone building in armstrong creek? 456Mar 06, 2015 12:50 pm Shazs50 Hi, we have just paid deposit for land in stage 64a Warriliy Coast. We were looking at design my Metricon, anybody heard stories about the slabs that are used for the area? Thanks Sharon Just from reading back on this thread it seems alot of people have had their slabs classed as 'P'? Not sure if this helps at all. We are with Carlisle Homes and the slab/site costs are all inclusive and upfront. So if anything goes wrong we dont have a scary bill at the end. http://kateandnathsblog.blogspot.com.au/ Carlisle Homes Addison 24 - Warralily, Armstrong Crk, Geelong • Colour: June 1 Tender: June 9 Contract: July 3 • Site Title: Dec 2015 • Site Start: March 1 2016 • H/Over: June/July Re: anyone building in armstrong creek? 457Mar 27, 2015 3:23 pm I made a GIF of the Armstrong creek Warralily development progress over the years... Any info will be great... thanx in advance Hi - we've just bought land also in Armstrong Creek too at Waralilly Coast. Good news for you if you like Carlisle homes, because they have fixed site costs so it won't matter if they're likely to be high, it's all included we were told. We didn't go with Carlisle in the end, we've gone with Metricon, having that was definitely one of the main advantages of Carlisle over some other builders. Re: anyone building in armstrong creek? 460Jun 22, 2015 2:14 pm Hi Sarah Thanx for the reply ... apparently Carlisle quoted 20k for fixed site cost.... just not sure is dat right? We been to other few builders in last week time everybody is comin up with different site cost... didn't been to metricon yet... congrats for your new land ... and good luck with metricon... Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you.
