Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Which bricks is this? 8Nov 14, 2013 3:49 pm what i found so far is that its very important to see actual built houses in shortlisted bricks. it is next to impossible (for me) to envisage how a whole house would look with a particular brick. bricks upgrades cost different with different builders. there is no consistency at all. some builders have divided same priced bricks in different categories, and happy charging premium prices as upgrades. Re: Which bricks is this? 9Nov 14, 2013 5:12 pm Hi mirz, They most definitely look like Daniel Robertson's Hawthorn Tan, or a blend of Hawthorn Tan and Hawthorn Black. I have them on my own home (and love them). They look like the same batch as my home, too, which is no longer available. My home is coming up to 5 years old. I believe the newer batch is quite different, and doesn't have the purple look in them, but you'd have to take a trip to their showroom and see houses built more recently to see the newer batch. It may have changed again, too. I got some of the last remaining of my batch 4 years ago for my front fence. Black on light wood does look good. Not sure if it will be as long lasting as a steel finish? 6 6703 brokers will also be in a position to get you a better rate than the advertised rate most times. 6 7828 Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same? 6 7716 |
